Exam Date: 04 May 2025 (Sunday), 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST)
Mode: Offline (Pen-and-paper based)
Candidates Appeared: Over 22 lakh
Exam Centers: 5468 centers in 552 cities across India and 14 international cities
Languages Offered: 13 (Including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali, etc.)
International Exam Cities: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Singapore, Doha, Muscat, Riyadh, Kathmandu, Colombo, and more
📢 Key Highlights of the NEET UG 2025 Result
All India Rank (AIR) has been issued by NTA based on candidate performance.
Category used for result publication is as per the National Category List.
State-wise merit lists will be prepared by respective authorities using AIR and State Category List.
Results are valid for admissions into:
MBBS / BDS (All India and State Quota)
BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS under NCISM & NCH
B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing (as per respective college norms)
BVSc & AH (under 15% VCI Quota in Veterinary Colleges)
🏥 What Comes After the Result?
1. All India Quota (AIQ) Counseling – 15% Seats
Conducted by MCC (Medical Counseling Committee)
For MBBS/BDS admissions in central institutions, deemed universities, and ESIC colleges
Also includes seats for B.Sc. Nursing, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS through AACCC
2. State Quota Counseling – 85% Seats
Conducted by each State’s Directorate of Medical Education
State-specific eligibility (domicile, category, etc.) applies
3. Deemed University Admission
Based on AIR but conducted separately through centralized MCC counseling
4. AYUSH Admissions
AACCC is the counseling body for:
BAMS (Ayurveda)
BUMS (Unani)
BSMS (Siddha)
BHMS (Homeopathy)
5. B.Sc. Nursing & Veterinary
NEET UG 2025 scores may be used for B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing in select institutes
Veterinary Council of India (VCI) uses NEET for BVSc & AH admissions under 15% AIQ
